Metal Roof Installation Process

Our process is designed to ensure precise, safe, and long-lasting installation. Each stage is carried out with attention to detail, using specialized tools and up-to-date techniques to guarantee superior results.

1 - Initial Inspection and Consultation

Every project begins with a full evaluation of the existing roof or installation area.

  • We inspect the base structure to verify its stability.
  • We measure the total area, slopes, and key points such as chimneys, skylights, or gutters.
  • We advise you on available material types (corrugated sheets, standing seam panels, painted metal, etc.).
  • We define the color, finish, and metal thickness best suited to your architectural style.

2 - Area Preparation and Old Roof Removal

If an old roof is present (such as shingles or old panels), we perform a controlled removal.

  • All screws, nails, and residues are removed.
  • The supporting structure (framing or decking) is inspected for damage or weakness.
  • If necessary, new beams are added, or damaged sections are replaced.

3 - Installation of the Protective Base

Before installing the metal, a waterproof barrier or underlayment is placed over the entire roof surface.

  • This material (usually a synthetic membrane or asphalt felt) provides protection against leaks.
  • In areas prone to moisture or storms, extra sealing is applied along edges and valleys.

4 - Metal Panel Installation

Once the base is ready, the metal installation begins:

  • Panels are placed from the lower edge upward, aligned with precision.
  • They are fastened with galvanized or sealed self-drilling screws to prevent leaks.
  • On standing seam roofs, panels interlock without visible screws, offering a clean, modern finish.
  • All joints and seams are sealed with silicone or specialized waterproof tape.

Each panel is installed with millimeter precision, ensuring perfect alignment and maximum waterproofing.

5 - Finishing and Details

With the main structure completed, we move on to the finishing stage:

  • We install ridges, gutters, flashing, and trims.
  • Protective paints or coatings are applied if requested.
  • Seals, edges, and vents are checked.

6 - Final Inspection and Project Delivery

Before project completion:

  • A full inspection of fastening, sealing, and leveling is performed.
  • The area is cleaned and all debris removed.
  • We provide preventive maintenance recommendations and an installation warranty.
